FOUNDATION FOR TOMORROW is an initiative under AP Thailand’s ESG Sandbox Project, developed in collaboration with the SATI Foundation to study and enhance the development of migrant children aged 3–12 living with migrant construction workers across Thailand.

The program aims to build a deep understanding of early childhood development within the unique context of the construction sector and to establish a foundation for long-term quality of life from the earliest stages of life.

Why It Matters

Migrant children growing up on construction sites are often overlooked in urban development systems despite their significance as part of the future workforce. This initiative begins by systematically recognizing their needs and linking the well-being of migrant families to the long-term sustainability of Thailand’s real estate industry.

What We Do

• Conduct on-site assessments of children aged 3–12 against age-appropriate developmental benchmarks
• Study the living conditions and family context of migrant construction workers
• Operate through a multidisciplinary team: AP Thailand, child psychologists, and social workers from SATI
• Build a data-driven foundation for a scalable care model that can be applied across the industry

Industry-Level Impact

Participating contractors also work with multiple real estate developers nationwide, enabling the program’s outcomes to extend beyond AP and positively influence the broader ecosystem. It serves as an ESG model that delivers systemic—not just organizational—impact.
